Front row, Tanya. It looks as if Donna was in high school and Sophia was her favorrite person and guiding light. Sophia was also one of the favorites of our children. A great lady.I have found some other pictures that I will share at my next posting. I do not have the exact year, but the picture is taken in Phoenix Donna’s brother,John and wife, Bev, in 1950.This would be about five years before I came into the family. I did find another photo and I believe the children from right to left are Mary, Jim,Jeff and Lonnie. Pictured holding Johnnie,s boy, I believe to be Jim, is Donna’s father, John Entenman.Behind John is Donna’s Mother, Nora. To the right is Johnnie’s wife, Beverly. John and Nora Entenman had the following children: Nora, Caroline, Johnnie,Donna and Jim. Nora and Johnnie are deceased as well as both grandparents. Just received a call from Sandy Rye in Eau Claire, Wisc. and my brother,Ray, has been transferred to the critical unit at the hospital. He has pneumia and is a recent recipient [...] This coming Sunday would mark the 90th wedding anniversary of my Mother Emma Thompson and GN Rye. They were married at Porter, Mn. where they became engaged in farming.Now, for a brief history of the Thompsons as researched by Donna Entenman Rye.
