Dan, in his Mother Donna’s arms in July of 1958
in Riverside, California.Pictured also are Randy
and Angela and my Mother’s friend from Porter,
Minnesota, Caroline Leeland,who accompanied us on our trip from
Worthington, Minnesota to my new teaching job
at Central Junior High School in Riverside.
In Worthington we had a 1955 Chevy pickup and
the Doctor advised us to get a heavy more
comfortable car for the pregnant Mother.So, I
believe we arrived in California in a 1952
Chrysler new yorker.
In 1965 when we towed a 28 foot Terry trailer
from California,we returne via the trans Canadian
highway and when we went through Fargo,North
Dakota we stopped and visited our benefactor,
Caroline Leeland.
When we got to Seattle, we got on the ferry,camper
trailer and all to Victoria, British Columbia
On this day,Summer,Brigid and Dan are on the
good ship Sunshine in Vancouvor,British Columbia.
